“My name is Noemie, I am 10y and I am from Congo. At the moment I can not go to school because I have to take care of my young brother at the hospital. All my family was shot, except me, so I have to be responsible for my baby brother. 3 men entered my hut and started shooting.
I don’t know why they entered my home because we are very poor, we have nothing to be robbed… just a few pots to cook, and a few clothes to wear. My father was shot in the thigh and broke his bone, so he can´t move. My mother was shot in the belly and had to be operated on for many, many hours… and my baby brother was also shot, but it’s just a flesh wound, he looks healthy J .
I don’t know why these men do such bad things to good people?! I don’t understand where this violence comes from… I think they live in hatred… It’s the worst thing it can happen to a human being is to live in anger and hatred… And sometimes you see men and women hating for no reason… And then they are violent in their acts… and violent in their words… Violence in words it’s not as bad as bullets… but words turn into bullets… So many people just hate, and hate, and hate… when it would be so easy to love!
I wish I could teach every human being to love instead of hate! I want to be a love teacher! First I will start to teach love in Congo that has too many years of war, and then I will teach the whole world! From the small things to the big things no matter what happen to you, LOVE BACK! I will forgive and love the men that shot my family… Love is the answer!”
